Once again, we’re delighted to be teaming up with the magnificent Sagra Restaurant in Malvern for our second year of Narkoojee luncheons together. Last years event was so popular and successful that this year we’ve been able to secure the restaurant for an additional luncheon date.

We’d love for you to join us to celebrate the Melbourne launch of our new release wines, the 2016 Sparkling Harriet Chardonnay, 2016 Reserve Chardonnay and 2015 Athelstan Merlot. You will be treated to a four course lunch of modern Italian cuisine matched beautifully with our wines.

Sagra is sure to engage all of your senses with a menu that tells a story rich in seasonal flavours and an Art Gallery to explore all under the one roof.

The Narkoojee reputation for quality chardonnay is hard won and greatly valued.  As Axel Friend our winemaker has gradually taken over the winemaking from Harry, his father, he has allowed his own thoughts to be brought to the process.  He has introduced extra factors to what is already a winning style.  Naturally, Axel still maintains his role directing the management of the vineyard which is critical, for as we are often reminded, great wines are commenced in the vineyard.

Narkoojee has continued its steady upward trend in performance with the latest edition of the 2016 Halliday Wine Companion.  This edition marks our best ever achievement with four wines scoring 95 points and above.

Our winery rating has increased from 5 black stars to 5 red stars to describe an ‘outstanding winery regularly producing wines of exemplary quality and typicity’ putting Narkoojee in the top 10% of Australia’s wineries.
